Thumbs up

I installed the 4 bbl version of the M1 on my '98 and if you take your time, its not bad at all if you're a gearhead and like to "do it yourself". I've heard the M1- 2bbl is an even easier install because its an exact replacement. The install kit should come with new gaskets, intake bolts, etc.

My advice would be to read some of the "M1 installs", you can just about find them everywhere.

Just one I found in an M1 install search on the internet.

Good luck!

You can get the kit from anyone that sells mopar performance parts.
The install kit does not come with gaskets. It is just some aluminum spacers for the fuel rails and either the alternator or a/c mount. It also has bolts.
You will need intake manifold gaskets and a throttle body gasket and a thermostat gasket. Its a good time to put in a 180degree thermostat.
You might want new O-rings on the injectors.
It was not hard at all to change.
Good luck with your install.
