I have asked this question several times to several different people, then I finally just fully assembled mine and put it on a scale. 69 440 block with factory iron 4b intake, factory log-type exh. manifolds, water pump, oil pan, ect. 715lbs. that being said with aluminum heads, intake, water pump. and headers instead of manifolds and lightweight starter you can have a 440 that weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 580lbs.
