Best Setup?
Hey guys,
I've got a '70 dart and I would like a CD player in it but don't want to cut the dash out. Any ideas on the best setup on a budget? I don't need anything real fancy, just something that sounds good and wont cost an arm or leg. I've got some Sherwood 6x9's and that be it right now. swinging340 |

There's a number of things you can do. It all depends on how you want the final product to look. www.customautosound.com has a lot of original looking modern stufff (i.e., CD players with knobs, etc). www.secretaudio.com has some stuff designed not to be seen at all while providing you with modern stereo. Then, you can also just fab up an OEM-looking console or something with an aftermarket stereo. The sky's the limit.

Hey,
How r things in Daytona? I miss the place. Thanks for the sites, gives me some options. I was kinda considering driving down the road to Ultimate Electronics and seeing what they could hook me up with. I just had them put some stuff in my Camry last night and the free installation was nice! Another problem I have though is the heater controls keep falling back in my dash. They would fall in a bit and lay on top of the old super tuner that I had in it. I think I've got a piece missing back there. Thanx, swinging340 |
