Default R block ???

was looking into buying a "R" block drag motor, but have been hearing bad things about water jackets not enough for street use,anybody know anything about this??
Also,has "Arrington " heads,any comments on them??
anybody use alloy rods on the street??

Default r3 block

I've never seen an cooling system problem before, but then again I've only sold a handfull.
No info on Arrington pieces.

Post Arrington Heads

10sec340: I think Sanborn is familiar with Arrington. It seems that he mentioned this in one of his posts. CircletrackChat. That 428ci setup would be thr trick of the week but will require constant maintenance, especially with the aluminum rods. Also check with Sanborn on extra cooling mods for R block. Wedgehead
