Transmission issue

I have a 2001 1500 Quad cab 4X4 Off Road... Anyone out there know what is wrong with my transmission when I place it in park, it will roll, but not every time.

Welcome to the board.

The first thing to check is the shift linkage. Place the shifter in Park and set the emergency brake. From under the truck, remove the shift rod from the shift lever (lower lever) on the trans and be sure it drops in the lever hole freely. If the lever has to be moved to drop the rod in, the linkage is out of adjustment or damaged.
