Default Cooling fans don't work

Now the radiator fans on my son's '97 SOHC Neon won't run. Even with the AC on, they don't run. I suspect the relay, but can't find it. I think I remember someone once saying the relay was under the battery somewhere. Anyone know for sure?

your relay will be in the black box behind the battery. if that does not work, check your coollant temp switch. and also if your thermistat is bad the hot coolant will never hit your temp switch

It was the relay. This relay is not the standard relay located in the relay/fuse box under the hood. This is a dealer item, and it is located on the frame rail below the battery. I wish it was one of the standard relays. It would have been mucho cheaper.
