Default PLEASE,, a LIFEDEPENDING 727 Q, what about the governor rod !!

Well,, its a little hard to describe, but this little pin have kept me sleepless for the most of the night!

I assembly the governor system and extension house yesterday.

BUT!!

I noticed the long pin/rod that keep the parts together had a smaller section on its center.
It taper from both ends to a smaller diameter in its center part.

IS THIS A WEAR??

OR

Is this how they look??

I have hard to belive its a wear,, but In case of,, I dont wanna think about what happens when the pin broke at 6k rpm!!

PLEASE I NEED to be sure so I can continue!
