Default Backspacing questions

I want to put a set of 10" rims on the rear of my 71 but the wheels I want only offer a 3" backspace. Will there be any issues with that on my ride such as, breaking studs or anything else ?

10" rim w/3" backspacing, i think you'll have fender lip interference, unless your rear is narrowed. stud breakage wouldn't be an issue unless using wacky wheelspacers or sumthin.

most stock mopars will like a 4.5 backspace. a 3" will leave a lot of room wasted on the inside of the tire. maybe they do make a bigger backspace but it might not be carried by whatever parts place your lookin at. i noticed this same thing from summit a couple times. go to the wheel mfg website to find out for sure.

Currently have Centerline Hellcats 15x8 4" B.S all the way around. Lookind at buying Cragar black widow D's or the street lock D's.

10" rims with 3" back space you will more than likely encounter outside fender problems
