premagnum roller motor
do the 89-92 360's pass oil through the lifters, or is it only through the head casting?
if you look here- http://www.babcox.com/editorial/ar/elements/40090e.gif it looks like the lifters WILL pass oil if hollow pushrods are used, and you'd just need to neck down the hole in the pushrod tip to control excess flow. the whole article is here=- http://www.babcox.com/editorial/ar/ar40090.htm also, i read another post here that had conflicting opinions on whether or not the premagnum roller lifters are the same as magnums, as well as whether or not the lifter bores were any taller on the roller LA's versus the 89-earlier blocks. anybody know for sure? |

They oil through the heads and not the lifters. The lifter bore is taller.
