Default best price on new suregrip

last night i pulled the center section out of the charger and found out why ive had the tap tap tap sound on decelleration. the cone type sure grip (489) case is toast. i dissasembled it and found the left side cones splines gone, and the cone looks like someone did some grinding on it in the past to tighten it up. a shim was in 2 pieces and the housing was full of metal shavings. the side gears splines have a lot of play in them when you put them on an axle , so none of it is worth trying to save. so im in the market for a new one so where have you guys gotten yours for the best price.

still looking for my car but so far my pricing seems to float around $600 cdn plus labour.

Let me know if you find someone less expensive

73calroadrunner,

That last auction you listed was for a new unit, but there has been 300 views for the auction & not a single bid on it. Makes you wonder if people are still shying away from the new stuff.

I purchased a 741 pig, 3.73 gears with yoke from Andy's close to one and a half years ago. About $740 total including shipping, no exchange. Works like a charm.
