Question will this 4 speed question

Chrysler aluminum A-833 transmission main case, p# C-13546 B, date: 4A.28.80, with side cover and reverse idler gear , shaft and lever. Bidder/buyer must research fitment. It appears to be in great shape. The cluster pin hole appears to have been re-bushed. Bidder/buyer must research fitment.

with this work for my car 73 road runner b body wanna put my 23 spline and 4 speed parts in this aluminum case but it doesnt have a tail shaft so could i use the cast tail shaft with the alumuinum case? will this work ? im wanting to make the trans lighter

i,ve heard that the stock aluminum case and side cover are not up to the high performance task. a guy in PA runs an outfit named passon performance, and he designed a heavy duty aluminum case, tailshaft and sidecover for 833 4 spds. his phone is 570-401-8949 and email fourspd@ptd.net

They are quite strong and can be used with high performance in mind, but new bushing should be added to the main and sec. shafts. www.passonperformance.com here's the site you need top get your aluminum tail shaft and other pieces.
