8.25 Trac-loc/ring&pinion installation

Hi Guys,
I need to install Dana Trac-loc and 3.55 ring/pinion in 8.25". Anyone know where to get procedure or instuctions? How hard to install?

First, get the factory service manual, eBay is a good place to look.
Older 8.25 had 27 spline axles, somewhere in the mid 90's Mopar went to 29 spline, so make sure you aren't trying to make old fit new or vice versa before pulling anything apart.

Advance auto will have Haynes manuals and it should have the procedure in it. If you dont have the proper dial indicators and tools to do the job with, it will be cheaper in the long run to get a pro to do it for you. It must be done right or it will whine or wear the gears out. Make sure to get the sure grip additive from the dealer to mix in with your gear oil so it wont crap out too soon. And dont race it too hard. The trac loc is not that heavy a duty peice to be racing on. It's just a cheap way to go over a real sure grip.
