Default switch from holley to edelbrock carb on 318

can anyone tell me if I will need an edelbrock bracket kit or any special brackets when I take the holley carb off my 318 and install the edelborck?

If so should they have them in stock at a local parts store chain?

the auto is a 70 challenger upgraded from slant 6 to 318.
the intake in a duel plane

both are 4 bbl carbs - the holley is borrowed and must be returned. the edelbrock i got for 25 bucks-pulled of a 440 a few months ago and was running fine then. just not enough carb for the 440

thanks for the help

chris

A throttle adapter would be nice to use, but I have done the swap without it. (Better to have it.) There at the local speed shop and /or even auto zone.

Default thanks for the suggestion

Couldnt find the adaptor but after deciding to go ahead and try the swap, I found that the guy whom I bought the carb from had left the adapter for me. What a stroke of luck. Thanks for the help, rumblefish

I am back out and crusing!
