Default roller rocker hp question

hi, does the addition of roller rockers to an engine add horsepower ?.
i see these ads promising 15-40 hp by installing them.
has anyone done an actual dyno test confirming this ?

thanx guys

ohioDemon,
Is there fine print that says 1.5 stock compared to 1.6 or 1.7 roller. I bet that's where the power comes from and not from the reduced friction and less deflection than the stock pieces.

Default Over stock stamped maybe.

I could see 15hp over the stamped steel ones since they aren't real precise. But I think you would get near that with the ductile iron ones too. Maybe a little less heat in the oil, but most aren't really full rollers to even help with that.

They lower oil temps and give a small boost in horsepower. Depending on the ratio of the rocker arm you choose it can affect cam lift for a slight benefit in power. 1.5 ratio was pretty much stock. If you are looking for a bang for the buck mod this would not be the place to invest your money. You would do much better with a different bolt on such as a new intake or headers. But if you want to do this then go for it. I have a set of 1.5 crane gold race rockers and couldn't be happier with them.

Seen a dyno test that proved what they claim. Little over stock engine with that the only change + 17 hp on his engine.
Adding a larger ratio intensives the cam and adds lift. This will equal more power no doubt.
