Default 70 Charger 500 Value?

Hi, I just looked at a 70 Charger 500 today that is for sale. Its a 318 car. I "Think"it has the original motor in it. (Haven't talked to the owner yet) rebuit auto tranny. The car is a driver, has been off the road for 4 years. Has some rust holes in the quarters and some bondo where the roof slopes down to the trunk area. There is also a patch around where the heater hoses enter/exit the firewall. I dont know if it was rotted or if it had a/c at one time.
The floors and frame look great. I couldnt get into the trunk but fear there may be some holes due to the silicone caulking I saw around the lower section of the rear window.
Right now this is what I like to call a 50/50 car. It looks good at 50 ft or 50mph. =]
I just dont really know the value of B-bodies that well. So if you have an idea of the value of this or need some more info on it please let me know. Thanks for any input.

5th digit/letter in VIN is G. G= 318.
I have since talked with the owner and he has informed me that the motor is not the original.

The 318 can be very original for those cars. It's there corprate engine and was found in many Chargers, and other perfromance lines. If it's all original, it's worth quite a bit. IF you can get it worth the money, restore it and you'll have you a good investment, and show car to boot. Not many originals left and that's what makes them worth so much.

The motor in the car is a 318, just not the original one. The owner is asking $3800. Should I? ......

That's a little high for my area at least anyways. IT would be better if it had the original with it so it could be built and put back in place. I would work on getting that price a little lower with the amount of work it needs, but all in all it's not too bad a price, but still a little high.
