Default Howell vs. Eddy (EFI)

Hi,
I wanted to get EB pro flo efi but then someone mentioned checking out Howell and they have a TBI EFI kit for only $1265, half of the EB system. Anyone running the Howell system? I don't know if the EB is worth the extra money or not. I would like to see a picture of that howell kit and know how good of a kit it is. How good are their chips? Matt

TBI is no better than a properly tuned carb. Port injection is far superior. I think that the extra $1,300 to do it right, is worth it.

They have the MPFI setup for the small blocks and the RB. They do not have it for the B block.

Ya she does.....but it won't work with a modded engine. I will be rebuilding it eventually to a high 300 low 400 horse motor. WIll the efi setup you showed me even work with that? Thanks

If a 1,000 CFM throttle body can't keep up with that, then nothing can... lol

You will need to work with a good cam shop (like Racer Brown), to get a cam that will give you what you are looking for and still work properly with the EFI setup. Racer Brown can custom grind a cam for the exact application and it will only cost you about $50 more than the other name brands.
