Default 383/M1 throttle cable linkage help

G,day all.I am a first time contributor from Sydney Australia.I am hoping someone out there can help with a small problem.
I have an Australian model 69 valiant A body hardtop which I have a 383 installed. It is running an M1 manifold and a carter TQ carby. Can you purchase a throttle cable bracket and kickdown components to suit this setup.
If so , where from and if possible would anyone have the relevant part numbers.

Any help is much appreciated.

Kind regards
Gordon Gleave.

A R engineering makes a adjustable height throttle cable bracket. The guys at www. manciniracing.com[a good place for Mopar parts] sell it for about 55.00 US. It's on their website. They tell me you can use the stock cable with this or Lokor makes a good cable. Good luck Tim

All help is appreciated.

I had a look at the mancini site . The bracket looks great but I couldnt see any links for the kick down to suit.

can I do anything to the transmission so that I dont need a kick down linkage.

Many thanks

Gordon.

You may also want to check with FBO Systems. They have a very close working relation with AR Engineering.

As far as the kickdown goes, I would just replace the linkage with a LOKAR kickdown cable.

I'd run the Lokar kickdown cable, looks good and easyiest fix.You have to have a kick down lever to make it shift right and not damage the transmission.might not need one with A full manual valve body but that be a pain to drive on the street.
