Portable Engine Stand
Has anyone got some diagrams or design to make a engine stand that bolt to the motor and makes life easier when moving them around the shop, and i don't mean a engine rebuilding stand.
SImilar to the ones that come with a crate engine from mopar, and just adding some wheels. Any help or diagrams Eddy |

I bought one awhile back, sorry dont have the receipt and forget what I paid, wasnt too expensive though.
It was basically just a square C-shaped base with wheels with a post up the back with a circular hole for the engine plate to go thru with a pin to secure it. You'd may want to call around , engine stands are not so uncommon in stores these days, may save you a bit of fabricating. The ones I've seen for engine storage are similar, cept instead of the post up the back, they have mounts lower for the engine to set on. |
