I threw a 440 in a 1980 Cordoba LS "J" body, I'm not sure how close the two swaps would be, but aside from rerouting the rearmost header primary tube on the driver's side, it was more or less a bolt in, nothing hard whatsoever.
I used a K car booster to retain the power brakes, a 1966 B body 8 3/4" rear, and the driveshaft was the rear portion of a 2 piece driveshaft out of a late 70's Dodge clubcab 2 wheel drive. Bolted right in between the 727 and the 8 3/4". The mounts were 1976 Chrysler "spool" type mounts out of a full-size. |
