360/ 66 Cuda engine mount??
I removed the 273 and I'm getting ready to install the 360. The 273 on pass side has 1 tab in front and two in rear to mount the motor mount. The 273 on drivers side has two tabs in front and 1 in rear for that mount. The 360 has 2 tabs in front and 1 in rear on both sides to mount motor mounts. It looks like the drivers side can use the three tabs if you space the rear tab with washers. The pass side however can only use 1 tab in front and 1 tab in rear. Is this correct?? Everone says that all you have to do is make up the spacing for the drivers side bracket that is wider. No one has mentioned that the pass side bracket cannnot use all the mounting holes in its bracket. Is this correct??
Thanks 360 in waiting |

bbeep, I simply bought a pair of mounts for a 360/Diplomat combo and got the correct offset for the driver's side. Not sure of the K-member bolt pattern on an A-body but I would think a mount for any 340/360 A-body will work. Old mounts still got good rubber? use the stack-of-washers solution.

Yeah, you going to miss one of the mounting tabs, but you still have a solid 3 point mount, left side, right side and trans. Use washers and measure, then get cool and cut down a 3/4 rod coupler and go "billet".. Ooooh!
