ATTN. Gezzer & Bighammer!

Just figured I'd get backw/ you and let you guys know about the cam. bearings. Turns out dad did not want to freshen the bottom end on this small blk. So-o-o the damn expanding tool would not fit down through the lifter galley. And since he didn't think the bottom end needed freshened, I could't come up through.S-o-o Installed from the rear to the front 5-4-3-2-1 Not to bad.For a G.M. Do you guys have a way to set the bearing distance from journal to journal? I just used the cam to back check. Making sure they were in the center of the camshaft journals and that the oil holes lined up? Just figured I'd ask for when I do my 71 440.Thanks again for the input! No more G.M. at least not for free!:flip: But thats my dad so I can't bitch.
