Default dana 44

Would a dana 44 fit under my '74 swinger? I need to replace it beacause i have the 7 1/4 in there now.
I measured the dana 44 flange-flange and is 52.5 inch's. Is that good? And i have 3.73 gears for it to.

The dimensions chart I have says that the 7 1/4 for a 74 A body is 51.400" flange to flange. Your Dana would be about 1/2" long on each side. Dont know if that would be a big deal, maybe off-set rims would help??
