Default need major 727 help

Well I posted here awhile back about my 727 not upshifting. I had it rebuilt and after getting it back in the car it won't upshift. At first it would only go to second, no third. I have adjusted the kick down from service manual specs to "my" specs. No change. I took the car back to the tranny shop. They put in new govenor weights/springs, and a different valve body. They said the valve body that was in it was the wrong year. Well I drove it home tonight and it did shift but seemed soft. I got home and went for a drive about 10 minutes later and now it's stuck in first gear. One other thing is, before I took it back I was able to get it to upshift by manually shifting it, but now it won't even do that.
I checked the fluid level and it is about 1-1/2" above the full mark while idling. I shut it off and the fluid goes up about 1/2". I'm going to pump some fluid out when it cools and then try it again.
If anyone has any ideas please help.

Thanks.

When you checked the fluid was it in neutral? You cannot check it in park. If it is indeed over full, you may have found the problem It is aireating the fluid.
The only other thing is , It may have a DEMON. You need to go out to the car, stare into the headlights and say" HONDA, HONDA, HONDA ". Also spray WD 40 around the garage.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
