Question need parts for 73 Charger SE

Just saw car!!! Need BOTh fenders, 1/4's, rockers, & doors. I am going to pick up a used tank in PA Sat. Stiil looking for any and all advice!! No junking the car is not an option!!

LOL What? A 440 HEMI? HMMM...

A 440 HEMI? HMMM.... I think I ran across one of those engines once. It was in an old barn , at night, I was hunting a Jack-a-lope.

Sorry Mick, don't mean to poke fun, but aint no such creature as a Jack-o-lope, nor a 440 hemi.

I do remember a magazine article (about 15 years ago!) where someone had bolted hemi heads to a big block. As I remember took a LOT of work and external plumbing.

As for your charger. What kind of shape is it in. What kinds of parts ar eyou looking for? I've got some 73 charger parts - mostly underhood, an interior, some trim. Couple of heads from a 74 400 along with a bare block. And doors from a 74 - they need body work.

Glad you could take a joke. Sounds like you've got a project on you hands! I saw you already found dodge-charger.com.

Now about being that cash cow, you wouldn't want to adopt a slightly overweight 41 year old son with a Charger in need of a paint job would ya?

You guys are funny, one of the guys I work with is doing burn outs in front of my house, can't shoot him cause he'll shoot back!! 5 chargers eh? Cleveland houses & yards are a little small, doubt they'd fit in the yard.

I got 11 acres out in the woods. Talk about privacy. Gotta watch out for the critters though!!

If you need any help with that thing let me know. You know with a big block they weigh in around 45 to 4700 lbs. Big sway bars front and rear are mandatory for some decent handling.

You need more than a beer, sounds like. Maybe one bourbon, one shot, and one beer.

The fan clutch I might have, but sheet metal is getting hard to come by, but fiberglass is easy to get.

Do you need a hood? I've got a 74 SE hood and a 73 Hood with a big snorkel scoop on it. Also got a couple of trunk lids. They need some work though. Bumpers too.

What are you asking for clutch fan? Slowly getting info on car, now believed to be a 400 with some sort of 383 pistons and a canafranastan in the middle!! Hope to get the car home by the end of the week, guy has extra seats and hoods, supposedly,,,,, we shall see. Still need fenders!! Willing to make a road trip.
