Default 360 MP short block hp?

The 340 broke in 70' Duster 4spd car. I bought a 360 sb from MP when they were first available. The comp ratio with stock heads 10.1-1, they have been ported. The cam is a hydraulic .509 292/292. It has a Edlebrock high rise and a 750 holly. Any idea of the hp? Other things include fiberglass fenders and hood, centerforce dual friction clutch, sub frame connectors, 8.75 w/4.10, superstock springs and b5 blue. It's a kick! Any thoughts on 1/4 mi et?

The b5 blue alone is worth .5 in the quarter.

LOL@ Twisted360

pharmon, I do not know the HP rating. No one here has stepped up to the dyno with this combo yet. However, a well prepped (Read; track set up) car has turn low 12's as posted by a few members here a while back.
While these members have the short block in common, the carbs and heads differ slightly. From Edel.'s to ported iron J's. They all run within a few tenths of each other in various states of chassis set up and tune.
I think the best I read was 12.10
I think this puts you somewhere in the 420 to 470 HP range. Depending on a lot of things off course like header /exhaust tube size, carb type and cfm, and actual flow of cfm in the heads ports.

If you can come up with some flow numbers for your heads, I can plug them into the desk top dyno for a guess-ty-met.
The computer program should be takin with a grain of salt and what your plugging in must be accurate !

hey fish,

thanks for the reply, not sure of the flow numbers, but, hardly any metal between the ports. Can't wait for the strip, maybe the new Mopar Drag City in Banning Ca. Headers are 1 3/4 into 3" collectors, 3" all the way to the 2 chamber flowmasters then stock to rear. The carb is a holley 3310-3 as I recall. Can we post pictures?

I'd have to guess along the same line as Rumble and say it's about 450 to 470 hp range.
