Is this oil pressure normal?

At Idle I get 20psi and at freeway speeds about 75mph I get 30 psi. She has 2.76:1 gears and it don't matter if the oil is cold or hot. Always the same reading. I even swapped gauges with the same outcome.

did you check the sending unit? its not always the gauge

a good rule of thumb is 10 psi for every 1000 rpm, anything less you need to check something out...maybe the pump is on its way out

it's a mechanical gauge, my truck did the same thing and lasted me over a year til it fragged, i guess if it blows, then I can add two more cylinders to the engine bay.

A really good stock Slant will have around 45-48 psi going down the highway, and 15-20 at idle hot.

I raced my Duster with no oil pressure at all at idle, and 35psi wound up. It didn't toss anything out.
