i'm am puting a 440 crank in a 400 block with 400 rods . I have had the mains turned down then ground the counter weights to fit the block . I would like to know if the kbpistons will fit without any more grinding to the crank?? |

You should use 440 rods and JE pistons. JE makes a piston for this application and the longer 440 rod gives a mor desirable rod length to stroke ratio.
