Default Have you built anything? Let's see it!

I know we have a few kit builders here on the site, so let's see what you've got!
Also, just for this page, non-Mopars are ok to post, I'm sure there's also military, aircraft, as well as other styles of modeling practiced here as well.
Just to get things rolling, here's a 60 Imperial I restored awhile back, I like messing with these, but tween kids and the telephone, usually dont get a whole lot done!
Also, if I get any more plastic Mopars done, I'll try to show them here first from now on!
Anyone else have some pics of something you've built?

Just started a '77 Monaco sedan with a '70 SuperBee chassis, DOHC Hemi/4spd, and copcar wheels on Viper tires. All from AMT/ERTL kits! I'm going to try building it for the upcoming HobbyTown USA model contest on 10/2/04.

Default 1971 road runner/superbird

I wish I could find the nose and wing. They were lost along with a shoebox full of parts and bits of little Mopar love. I was crushed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ntphotos67.jpg

I like it, I'm getting ready to do much worse to a Chevy Citation model myself.

Default Citation Model?

Where did you find a Citation? Thats gonna be neat. My wife said I was nuts for "ruining" my Daytona. I have a sick obsession with rotten cars.
carsinbarns.com is on my favorites list. When I was 18 I made a rotten 68 Road Runner in 1/25 that won a blue ribbon at a local car show. Theres just something about a forgotten or neglected muscle car. I have bought some fake rust for the Daytona since the pictures and its looking worse than ever! Thank you for the kind words and I hope to see more about this Citation you're building.

Default Jacking the rear up

When you disassemble a die cast car, the body separates from the "drive train platform" and interior. Under the package shelf there is USUALLY two screws holding the rear axle assembly in place. If you replace these screws with longer ones and use a spacer, you can give your ride a raked stance that makes vans from the 70s cringe! I normally go for around 1/8 or 1/4 inch.
The leaf springs are tricky, I tend to use homemade "shackles" or a spacer. Also, if you remove the washer from the door hinge, it will give the saggy look of an abused car door.Did you know that"joe dirts" Daytona is actually an unrestored Charger 500 survivor,PAINTED to look like that?!

They didn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody needs to be shot for that!!!

I picked the Citation up at work (I work for a hobby shop, not a cheap place to work, even with a discount ) . We had gotten a couple of them in when Revell-Monogram re-issued the car as a "3 in 1" Lowrider (no that's not a joke ), Street Machine with a Turbocharged 2.8l V-$#...uh, er, V-6 and goofy ground effects, or a stock X-11 (probably the nicest of the 3 choices). I'm doing it as a "local" beater, meaning the some "junkyard" bodyparts and interior pieces, and the worst IDOT (Illinois Depatment of Transportation) and Pep Boys have to offer. I may even grind out the floor so it'll look rotted out with some cotton or like material hanging through like carpet and isulation! I'm even thinking a wing from the "Fast and the Furious" Supra and making some running boards too .

Too bad I never got a pic of the Sentra that had them when I was in High School, went well with the Ford Pinto Kidney Bean wheels he had mounted on the back of the car (let's just say that there was almost too much offset)
