Demon jets?
I have a 750 speed Demon on my 440 Cuda. The motor has a the usual stuff, cam, headers, manifold, MSD and 4 speed. I seem to be getting more smoke ot the tail pipes. It's not black but just exhaust smoke. The motor has only about 2000 miles on it. The jets in the carb are stock and the plugs seem to be tan. Do you think if I went down on the jets some it would cure some of the smoke problem? I just read a past post with a guy who had a 440 with a 850 Demon and he found the car kept going faster at the strip as he went down in jets.

If you look in the tech archives, there is a great article on how to tune a Demon. You may also want to contact Don over at FBO Systems. I'm sure that he can point you in the right direction.

Yes, you need to jet down some more.
