Default Lack of power

Hey everyone im new to the site and i heard you guys were awsome at solving problems. Well my story is that i just got a pretty new neon, 03 with about 4000 miles on it when i picked it up. Its a manual trans. I have been driving a punchy six cylinder truck and now with the neon i dont seem to have enough power if anypower compared to what im used too could this be because theres something wrong or just all in my head

Well, you are down two cylinders, from a "punchy" truck. Probably a V6. More displacement to start with. Axle ratios are probably different. Your Neon was built for economy, not performance. The comparison really isn't fair. Your 6 had more horsepower and torque.
