Exclamation

The heat passage under the carb could be plugged, removal of the intake and a good cleaning will do it then,if no female personell operates this vehicle you can install a manual choke knob. Also check the heat riser for correct operaton.

Default All choked up

I learned how to drive a mopar with two feet, when cold one on the gas one on the brake, the gas pedal took a special bit of foot work. I have since been able to drive anything that would not of otherwise run due to this experience. Mopars from my experience "not just one or two" don't like to run unless fully warmed up, till then learn some fancy foot work.

sounds like you might be missing a thermostat causing the cold water to cycle instead of heat up
my charger takes about 5-7 minutes to heat up in fall
if its not the thermo it must be the choke out of adjustment.. you say its manual so you have control over the speed it comes off but the fast idle might need adjusting to match the choke flap
