Default Ol' AVS question(s)

I have myself an old AVS. The thing with this carb is it has a 3rd idle screw, above the 2 usual. Dead center.
This is the air bleed right?
Which way to turn for what effect?

That "drive" will have to wait some. I am preping it to fool around some. Just experiment with it.
The only thing I'll have anytime soon is a 400 going into the Magnum.
I know it's an air bleed, but thats it.
I drilled and tapped the carb to fit on a Edel. electric choke. I'll fuss with it more later. I'll have to look at it and see what I can mess with next.

Yes, the small one. Yes, squarebore. I have a 750 on the side waiting. After I get done with this one, I'll start in on that one. Although it isn't an air bleed model. I like the AVS better. I want to replace the 750 Carter AFB with the OE AVS later some time.
I have messed with the AFB some, not much. Nice carb.
I used a K&N stub stack, and there extreme top. I want to get to some modes with the secondary weights and boosters.
I was looking for awhile back the AFB or was it the AVS thats a 3bbl. That looks like fun for some high speed driving. I'd like to try to make one out of the small AVS for fun.
