72 headers on a 71

will a pair of headers off a 1972 318 fit on a 1971 head?

Headers for small block Chryslers are basicly generic on port fit. OR, any Comando head will work. I think Magnum ports are a bit different though they'll also bolt up.

Yeah all the exhaust manifolds & headers, will bolt to any LA or Magnum head.
(with a few possibe odd exceptions). Just remember to plug those air injection holes, on newer heads, if the manifold, or header flange doesnt cover them.

But engine compartment fit is another story. I really wanted to put 90's Magnum manifolds on a 80 M-body 318, but they hit the firewall. Truck 360 manifolds hit the P/S gear, etc...
