Default Torsion Bar Recomendations

I am after some recommendatiosn for Torsion bars for an A body station wagon, which will primarily be street driven with occasional drag strip action. What size was factory install for a slant 6 in a wagon?

383, 727 and 8.75 diff, body weight 1540kg.

I have got some listed below from mancini racing.

MOPAR - .920" Diameter - "A" body
MOPAR - .990" Diameter - "A" body

I would venture a guess that the smallest ones are for slant six.These will give you your best launch but if you want to corner well with a heavier engine larger ones would be best.

The .920 is the biggest one that you will need for propper highway driving. If it's a drag only car, use the .870 since it's a big block car. For street driving, Mopars like soft t bars and springs with large sway bars on both ends and an agressive shock package that you want find over the counter in local parts stores.
