Default Hemi Scoop Install on 69 Barracuda

Any tips for transition from soon to be hole in the hood to a 4150 Holley on top of a 360?

Wink

Big square chunk of sheet metal with supports to valve covers and foam around it to seal to the hood.Keep in mind that once you remove bracing on the hood it gets rather weak.

Cool

I made mine from a cookie sheet bought at the local grocery store. Cut a hole in the middle to fit it to the carb and put 1" thick foam rubber around the edge to seal it to the hood. Works like a champ. Total cost of materials was less than 10 bucks.
