hughes cams
How many people have used these Hughes fast rate of lift cams? they say their solids are so good that they make nearly the same power as a simliar sized roller. Anyone had notable succes with these before?

I am using one of there older designs. 256/265 @.050 with 1.6 rockers.
I like the cam, the 360 Barracuda with X heads has run 10,79 @123 in Vegas @ 2000 ft elevation. Also have a hydraulic hughes in my 360 with Edelbrock heads but have not started it up yet. I think the only thing i dont like about there cams, they seem to be pricey. tony |

I have a Hughes hydraulic and it satisfies my purposes perfectly, I would recommend giving it a try. I thought the cam was inexpensive, but adding the springs and lifters, plus shipping increased the cost.

I've used their cams with success for 11 years. Absolutely no problems with them or their products. Just be honest about the combo you're using it with, expected usage, and have as many answers to the pertinent questions they'll ask, when inquiring.
