Question Big Block I.D. ?

Hi, I know very little about Big Blocks so can someone educate me on how to I.d. one I found in a motor home in a boneyard? on the passenger side of block is a series of numbers ending with 400. does that mean it is a 400 or just coincidental? if it is a 400, would it be worthwhile to obtain if cheap enough? I have no idea what year this motor home is.
