Which CD Changer
I am looking to add a CD changer to my 04 Ram QC. It came with a am/fm Cass w/changer controls and I want to add the changer. Will any decent changer work?

My guess is, yea, any decent changer will adapt.
But, if your as Gung-ho Mopar as me and my brother, you would search, like we did, for a Chrysler 5 disc. its actually a Kenwood changer, with Chrysler and a pentastar emblazoned on it...he put it in his Gran Fury cop car, scored it at a yard sale for $20 new, in the box, works flawlessly, hooked to an oem deck, like yours. he's planning to keep the stock looking radio but add a little amp and maybe a subwoofer, all of which is do-able on a stock deck, with the proper adapters. |
