Remote Starter - Moparchat

Has anyone done a remote starter installation in their P/T Cruiser? A local auto parts store is selling a kit for $ 79. note: my P/T is a 2003 model (non turbo) -Thanks

I think the factory makes a remote starter for your PT. Go to the parts counter and get the Accessories catalog. They don't go back and make one for the 2001 PT. Could be better than aftermarket remote. Pre-made connectors and no cutting wires.

Mopar Parts has a remote starter unit for the PT cruiser. It requires a separate installation kit. Both together are $299. I am having the dealer install one in a new PT I am buying. 12 mo/12K mile warranty.
