Biggrin 4-3 spd question

Anyone know if you can stick a230 or a250 3spd internals into an a833 4spd aluminum case ?

Good question. I would be curious to know myself. I'm not too familiar with the 230 and 250, so I want to know why you would want to do this. Please enlighten me!

It's for an oval track race car that must usea 3spd per the rules. The aluminum case will make it much lighter than the gm 3spd. I have a gm 3spd and it weighs less than the a250 that we have. That makes the a250 at a disadvantage. All you would need is the 3spd side cover if the shafts will swap.
