tranny and tcase
I was wondering whats in my truck. Its a 73 w-100. It has a 4spd manual with a divorced transfer case. Does anyone know off hand or can you tell me where to look on them to find the numbers

The 4spd is the A-833 with numbers on the pad. The transfer case I don't know.

A '73 W-100 would have a top loader granny 4-speed like the NP435 or NP445. The NP445 has synchro 1st gear, the NP435 doesn't.
In either case there should be a tag riveted to the case with the model info, ditto for the X-fer case.
