I have a set cut to the quick. Mine read approx. 54 cc's. PS. Suggest you cut heads/block to accept rings.

Default 308 heads

hey LENWEILER
u lost me here ! what did u mean by the p.s cut heads /block for rings ? u talking about o ringing the block ?
i'm using cometec head gaskets on a set of mag heads that are 57 cc and had no prob with them
i'd like to match the chamber size with the 308 casting so except for valve cl there shouldn't be a prob !
do u rember how much u had to cut and did u have any cracking prob afterwards ?
thanks for any help
david

Yes Dave. I was talking about 'O' ringing. Sorry about that. I used copper and no rings (bad move). It leaked badly. Finally bailed. Anyway. It took .095 to close the chamber. No cracking problems.
