Default Flywheel and PP questions

I may get a new crank with the 8 bolt flange. This means a new flywheel in 11 inch I believe. Will my 10 1/2 in centerforce PP fit that? I dont think so. Would my starter still bolt up and work fine?
These stroker cranks are alot of dough! Add on the possibility of a new flywheel, clutch and PP. YIKES!

I think that you do not need to get the 8 bolt flange. The crank should be aviable with 6 bolts.
I think that a 10.5 PP will bolt up to the 11" flywheel.
The starter should work fine since most flywheels made are not the oddball units your thinking off.

In doing your stroker, you should be able to get the crank in standard 6 bolts flange so the other stock parts can bolt on. This shouldn't be an over the top expenditure.

All the stroker cranks of quality are 8 bolt. I will probably get a factory crank to keep it easy. There are 2 MP cranks on ebay.

Eagle makes a 4.15" stroker crank, 6-bolt style. It's a top notch 4340 forging. I know cause I used one in a 499 I built that makes tons of power and tork. Mind you it's an automatic tranny car, but I don't think you will bust it with your 4-speed. Be sure to blue loctite all flywheel and clutch bolts and use a tork wrench, you'll be fine....................djs PS you may want to use ARP bolts for this application for added insurance

Eagle = chinesse parts.
I don't about Mopar cranks, but they have 6 bolt flanges.

Even with the 8-bolt flange, flywheels are available for both 10 1/2" and 11" PP's and most will have both bolt patterns. The flywheel size depends more on the bellhousing being used than the clutch size.

I have some type of aftermarket scattershield. Will my starter still work fine with either wheel? What is the diff between 130 and 143 tooth?

I run a Lakewood scattersheild behind my 360. All starter fit and work well. The difference in flywheel teeth dictate which starter to use. Thats all that I ever found.

Rumble, There is only one starter. I think the 130/143 is just a diameter thing as the teeth are the same space.

The newer Lakewood housings have two starter locations, outboard for the 143 tooth wheel and inboard for the 130 tooth wheel.

OK, thanks. Heard different, never had anything but the common componets.
