Default A500 transmission

Anyone done a A500 od transmission swap to a 360 in a 73 B body? I read a old mopar artical where they did it in a 70 Roadrunner. That was a few years old so was wondering if anyone has made eaiser setups for this swap. Plus see if anyone has done it.. Also does anyone know how much power they can handle, before needing to be built up. Dan

They wont handle much since the A500 is just an A904 with an add on O.D. unit where the gov. used to be. The A518 is the piece you want and need. The tranny tunnel will need to be cut up and widened some for it to fit. Not worth butchering upa good car for all that.
