Default Stuck Freeze Plug

I have a freeze plug in the side of the block I can't get out. It won't budge. I have pried and beat it till I'm wondering if I'm missing something. Any input? The motor is still in the car. It's a 318.

Please!

Can you knock it into the block? Dont try and pry it out against the block or youll bugger the hole. Usually you can knock in one side and itll pivot so you can grab it with a vice grip. You can also try a slide hammer and a sheet metal screw. Paint the back of the new freeze plugs with RTV and let dry. Itll outlast your block.

get a hammer and a punch and knock it sideways, then pull it out with channelocks like said above (did one this morning on a 351w)
