You may want to check the local wrecking yards first. I've found some good units through the years. I think the last one was a 489 case, 3.91 suregrip and it only cost me around $55.00.

Lockrites or Powertrax No-slip. Cheaper, stronger, just as durable, and real locking when you romp on it. For more money, you could do a detroit locker, which is even nicer, but probably cost prohibitive at that price.

A lot of guys are running these in Jeeps and other 4x4s. As you know in 4-lo there is a tremendous amount of gear multiplication that these lockers handle without issue. This is often with the added stress of much larger and heavier than stock tire/wheel combinations.

I know the No-Slip (more $ than the lockright) in my Jeep is virtually unnoticeable on the street until I lay into it, then I get full locking on the rear axle. Lockrites are a little noisier, but not much. Also, you don't have to reset your gears to install these. Sounds like this wouldn't be an issue either way for you.

Just presenting other options for you. I would second Randy's. Have always heard good things about their customer service and support.
