Default 545RFE Transmission / BB Adapter ?

Does anyone make a 545RFE Transmission to BB 440 adapter? (45RFE = Same bell housing).

I see that Powertrain Control Solutions have a Programmable Electronic Automatic Transmission Controller that will soon be working with the 545RFE - see http://www.powertraincontrolsolution...content-4.html

This would make an interesting combination ............ ?

Perhaps and option to the 727 and Gear Vendors Overdrive .......?

JW just might. they make sometthing called an "ultrabell" which allows, among other things, using an LA trans on a B or RB angine, or adapts a powerglide to a B or RB engine. i think i priced them (just out of curiosity) at around $200-$300. i dont remember the exact price, but the number '285' keeps making itself known.

Choper, I think you might have a problem with that trans.... I looked it up at transtarindustries.com, and it looks like that is a 4WD only tranny. The only application listings they have are for the following: 99-up Grand Cherokee with 4.7, 00-up Durango ( both with 45RFE), and 04-up Jeep (545RFE). Getting a RWD tailhousing may be a problem. I don't know if there are RWD variations for the international market, so there may be some hope there. Have you thought of using the A518 or A500?
