Parts Storage
I have been tinkering with cars for a few years and now have quite a few good extra parts laying around. This thread is to share ideas on how to store these parts for future projects.
I store my cam and lifter sets in the custom boxes shown below. No rust! |

I cobbled up a dozen of these boxes a few years ago. I planned on making several cam changes to try and peak the performance of my first 273 and wanted to keep everything clean and in order. As it turned out, I kept the same cam in for the life of the engine.

That 273 ran a 12.39 @ 109 in my 3181 pound 64 Dart. It had factory 273 heads opened up with 1.88/1.60 valves and a Comp Cams 292 hydrolic cam with solid lifters. That same 273 is being heated up just a little and I hope to run a 10.99 with it in the Fall. But that's another story.
