I am getting this hemi in 2 days from my uncle jack
He pulled it out of his 2003 2500 and the hemi has about 67,000 miles on it but I want to put it in my 85 Power ram 150 4x4 with a 727 and I want this hemi with more low end tork but I cant find anything for it.

Im guessing just finding someone that could do a simple redo of the factory computer can add what ever you need. Usually they have alot more potential in them.....just gotta unleash them.

Honestly havent heard much about this for the Hemi yet. I know the newer style Birds and Maros, can pick up a bunch with this easy adjustment.

Hypertech makes a power programmer for it; there are several cold air intakes available, and, there is a turbo system for it (www.ststurbo.com)

Isn't the 5.7 Hemi like the Magnum engines, and uses a different motor mount than the '85? I ask because I wanted to swap an early V8 into my 4X4 Dak but the motor mounts are in entirely different locations. If my truck was a 2 WD, then there are motor mounts available to make the swap. Just wondering out loud. Rick.

There's also sims for removing the power robbing cats and headers and full exhuast systems, even though you would be better off with a local muffler shop putting duals with an X pipe on it.

You probably will just have to wait a few years for aftermarket parts to start hitting the market, since MP sells the 5.7 carburated crate engine the aftermarket should catch up with lots of bottomend, cam, head ect parts for more power... since it'd be likely for pre smog applications.
