Chrysler's market share going up!!

Maybe it's time we gave DC a few kudos for a change.
According to the Forbes link listed below:
http://www.forbes.com/columnists/col...0215flint.html

Things are starting to look up for Daimler-Chrysler.
For example:
Market share is going up from 12.8% in 2003, up to 13% in 2004 with predictions of 15% possible for this year.
Also from the article:
"The two LX platform cars are selling at a 210,000 unit per year clip. When the Dodge Charger comes on, it's reasonable to think that Dodge dealers could sell another 100,000."
And the Jeep Liberty is doin ok too with 167,000 sold last year.
There are a few weak spots, but compared to the disarray that both GM and Ford appear to be in right now, increasing your market share is never a bad thing!
Just thought it was time to give DC credit where credit was due for a change.

At least it's working for them then, wonder were they're selling all of those LX cars, I don't see too many of them on the roads around here yet?

My area is more into trucks and smaller cars, but I've noticed quite a few 300s when making trips on the interstate. I havent seen near as many Magnums, though there are some around.

I saw a few before the weather turned bad, then they all but disappeared when the weather turned bad. I did see alot more 300's than Magnums though.

That's good news. I read a lot of posts knocking against D.C. for things like using the "Charger" name on a 4-door car or for some minor defect on a newer car. At least they are doing some "good" things for Mopar enthusiasts like: Making new Hemi & 440 blocks & heads. New max wedge heads (and blocks ) A lot of this stuff had been unavailable for years before. Another good thing is their support for NHRA & Nascar teams. Although not the most successfull (as far as winning championships) as least they are in there giving us Mopar guys (and girls) somebody to root for.
I will continue to buy their cars. (I recently bought a new P/T Cruiser for my wife)
